Fighting Cancer with Compassion
The Strasburg family has been making monthly donations to the Queensland Cancer Council for over 15 years, actively contributing to cancer research and support. Tragically, their connection to the disease became personal when two of their own were diagnosed with cancer. One of their long-time drivers, a son-in-law and a vital member of their team, is currently battling cancer at the Toowoomba Hospital. The family knows firsthand the challenges faced by cancer patients and their families, especially with young kids involved.
A Personal Journey with Prostate Cancer

R&K Bulk Haulage is also ordering another striking truck, this time painted in sky blue, to highlight the significance of prostate cancer awareness. This endeavour became even more personal for Russell Strasburg, who was diagnosed with prostate cancer this year. He underwent successful surgery to remove the cancer, but the experience has made him even more determined to fight this insidious disease.
